CUPCAKE'S GETTING BETTER EVERY DAY!

We only had time for a few quick shots of Cupcake, but as you can see her hair is finally starting to grow again! This playful girl is bored to tears in the shelter- she keeps trying to play with her bowls! Look at that precious face...she doesn't deserve to live in a shelter!

MEET NEWBIE CARLY

Oh sweet Carly! Carly is just a baby- maybe 3 months old and she's living in a small cage in the medical room. She deserves to be in a cozy, indoor home. Couldn't you please just open your heart and home to this sweet girl temporarily? We are sure we can find her a good home, she just needs a safe place to rest in the meantime.

MEET LITTLE BOBBY

This is Bobby- an adorable, young puppy around 3 months old. Bobby appears to be either a Shepherd mix or a Black Mouth Cur mix (we really don't know)??? He is very friendly and playful and is incredibly bored at the shelter in a cage all by himself. Bobby would ADORE you if you would take him home and foster him for a bit while we find him a permanent home. Please call Joan at 870-739-1145 or Allison at 901-240-9848. We will get back to you as soon as possible so don't give up (please remember we are all volunteers).

DOGGY ANGELS NEEDED...MEET ANGEL AND FAITH

Oh if ever 2 dogs deserved more love... Meet Angel and Faith. We assume these precious girls are litter mates. They were picked up in a neighboring town. The sad truth is that most city shelters would probably put them to sleep based on how they look, but we think they deserve a chance. They both appear to have some type of mange (Faith more severe than Angel). Despite having flies almost carry them away (poor babies were outside at the shelter due to overcrowding), both of these girls just wag their tails at the sight of humans. They really need some help. A foster home would be fabulous as well as some sponsor money to help pay their vet bills. They are safe temporarily at the vet's office, but cannot stay there forever. Please call if you can help these precious souls ASAP. Check their Petfinder profiles for updates on their progress. Be sure to click on each picture for an enlarged view.

MEET TIGER- WHAT A GORGEOUS BOY!

Tiger is a gorgeous creature. He looks like a Boxer mixed with something like a Rottie or something similar. This boy was found as a stray near a busy Interstate. His owner has not come looking for him, so he is now available for adoption. If you are interested, please call Joan at 870-739-1145.

MEET THE 3 STOOGES: LARRY, MOE, AND CURLY

Aren't these guys adorable?!? Larry, Moe, and Curly were abandoned outside the shelter with a sack of dog food. They are the sweetest young boys- very playful and friendly. Poor babies are living outside in the heat (black dogs don't do very well when it's so hot). Please consider fostering them until we can find them a forever home. If you need more pictures of any of them, please email us and we can send you some.

UPDATED PICS OF CRICKET & HER 3 PUPS!

Well the good news is 3 of Cricket's pups survived. The bad news is that no one has stepped up to help this sweet girl. Cricket tries so hard not to do "her business" in her crate with her newborns. She waits and waits for someone to let her out and then goes for what seems like forever. That is no life- please someone, foster these adorable pups and their momma. She has 2 boys and 1 girl. Call Joan at 870-739-1145 or Allison at 901-240-9848
