MEET MOLLY

Meet Ozzie's sister, Molly. Oh my... what a precious litle girl. Molly is a playful young pup who is about 3 months old. Her mother is a purebred English Bulldog. Molly is having to live outside the shelter with her brother. Please consider fostering these two!

MEET OZZIE

Meet adorable Ozzie! Ozzie is an adorable English Bulldog mix who was surrendered by his owner along with his sister, Molly. These have to be some of the cutest puppies in the world! Ozzie is somewhat shy at first, but he warms quickly. He doesn't belong living outside in the heat. Please consider fostering him (and his sister of course).

MEET GORGEOUS CAPTAIN: DO YOU KNOW ME?

Captain is a gorgeous Chocolate Lab mix who was found by a good samaritan. He would have been missing a few weeks ago because the person that found him kept him a couple of weeks in the hope that his owner would come forward. No such luck... Do you know who he belongs to? Captain will be available for adoption if his owner is not located soon.

REMEMBER SWEET RILEY- WHAT A LIFE!

Remember Riley? Well he definitely has the life- just look at him sunbathing! Riley also lives in Maine (Oh how we love the New England area!) and is extremely happy with his new family! This is what his new owner wrote:

We have not corresponded before, but I adopted one of your dogs... a yellow lab cross named Riley. I am attaching a picture of him. He is a wonderful little guy and while we have only had him a week, he is fitting in well and learning how to cope with 3 cats. We live on a lake for the summer months, so he can swim and play in the water which he loves! I am just beginning obedience training with him, so that will help smooth the transition even more. Hoping to hear from you and thank you for your great work with animals - it is totally awesome. Betty

HERE'S ANOTHER RESCUED PUP, MISSY!

Melody's pup, Missy, is also doing fantastic in her new home in Maine! Missy has been renamed Lily and as you can see, she has 2 new canine buddies to romp and play with. Once again, thank you Janet for saving so many lives!

MELODY'S PUP, MEADOW, FINDS A HOME!

We couldn't be more pleased with Meadow's new life! Jasmine is her new name! She has been adopted by a wonderful family from Jonesboro, Arkansas (about an hour from Marion). Jasmine has a new playmate, Harley, who is not much older than she. Jasmine's sisters are now in the New England area, so hopefully we will hear updates regarding their adoptions soon. This is what Jasmine's new owners had to say:

"Just thought I would send you some pictures and an update. They are doing great. She is opening up and he is learning to share. I was worried about his rough play. But she is holding her own in the rough play now. They are funny watching them wrestle in the back yard, but they are having a blast. She went out all by herself Saturday morning through the doggie door and used the bathroom outside... Harley started out bringing her rope and dropping it at her feet. When she would pick it up he would grab the other end to play tug-a-war. Now they do it all the time...There still is a little jealousy with Harley over petting, but he will get over it. I try to make sure and pay them both attention at the same time as you will see in the picture. I think the is going to work out great for everyone."

Thanks so much for giving Meadow (aka Jasmine) such a wonderful life!

DOGGY ANGELS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY: MEET BRADSHAW

Poor Bradshaw needs a miracle! Yes he has lost a significant amount of hair at this point, but you can tell by his face how adorable he is (click on the pictures to enlarge). His skin condition is completely treatable and is not contagious. Bradshaw is a sweetheart! He is a happy young boy who deserves a chance (he has no idea how sad he looks...). Another strike against him is that he is heartworm positive. (correction July 3rd: Bradshaw thankfully is heartworm negative...we apologize for the mistake) All he needs is some medicine for his skin and some TLC. He could use some funding for heartworm treatment as well. We can even provide food if needed! Please hurry...
