MEET MELODY'S PRECIOUS PUPS!

OK there are way too many pictures to post of these precious pups, but here are some. All of Melody's pups are super cute! They appear to be primarily Shepherd mixes. They desperately need foster homes as this is critical socialization time (most of them are really shy). You can see more pictures of these guys/gals on our Petfinder website! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY SAYS IT ALL...MEET MELODY

Melody should get the "Mother of The Year" award! We've had some momma dogs in the past who were worthy of the same honors, but she tops all of them! This extremely sweet and gentle- natured girl has 9 puppies- yes 9 that she has raised! Her puppies look like Shepherd mixes (they are listed on the Marion Petfinder website, but look for them on the Blog real soon as well). Melody's puppies are just about 3 months old. We're not sure if Melody was abandoned with her puppies, but she and her puppies were finally captured safely. It took about 6 people to round them all up (they were living in the country under the "safety" of a culvert). Melody's puppies are fully weaned and are available for adoption as is Melody. Just look at her gorgeous face- what a beauty! She deserves to live in a cozy, indoor home don't ya think?!? Give her the best Mother's Day present ever- a home for her puppies as well as herself! MEET AMAZING MONTY!

What a love Monty is! Even though someone obviously did not care for Monty the way he deserves, he is such a gentle natured fella. Monty is a senior German Shepherd that deserves a loving home. Although he has some skin issues, the vet did not find anything contagious. Just look at those sad eyes (you can click on each picture for an enlarged view)! You can read more about him in his profile on Petfinder. Please consider him- the shelter is full yet again!

MEET SISTER MAIZY

Meet the other sweetie pie, Maizy. How could you pick just one? Maizy and her sister, Daizy, love each other and would love to stay together if at all possible. Please call Joan right away at 870-739-1145 if you can foster them or if you wish to adopt them!

MEET DAIZY GIRL!

Daizy and her sister, Maizy, were surrendered by their owner a few days ago. Are they not the cutest Blue Merle Aussie puppies! They are about 3 months old and super friendly. Please help us find a foster home for them so they don't have to stay outside at the shelter! Please hurry, the shelter is full and it's not a good place for puppies! Daizy's left eye is a gorgeous blue.

OH PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE: PRINCESS

Meet Princess. This really is a miracle dog and one of the nicest, most gentle dogs you will ever meet- truly. This sweet girl was found in a nearby town in really bad shape...we mean bad. She was starving and had cuts literally everywhere on her. Believe it or not, her hair is now growing back (she's been recovering at the shelter since she came in 4/09/08!) Princess looks 1000 times better now. She has been to the vet and should get all her hair back (nothing contagious suspected). Please give her a chance- she gets along with dogs AND cats (in fact, she lives with them in the kitchen all around her). Poor baby thinks this is her home now and goes outside to do her business and comes right back in- she doesn't know there are loving homes out there!

SMALL AND PRECIOUS: MEET SQUIGY

We couldn't resist calling this adorable guy, Squigy. He just looks like a Squigy! Anyway, he is waiting for a forever home where he can be loved and cared for. Squigy might be small, but he does make his presence known. Will you consider providing him a temporary refuge?
