UPDATE ON THE "HEARTWORM" PUPS

As usual - we have had a good number of Heartworm positive dogs come through lately. Thanks to our guardian angels - many of the pups have raised the funds to get the life-saving treatment they need. Here are some updates on a few of our "heartworm" pups.

Daisy Mae - This sweet momma dog has finished her treatment! She is fully recovered and will be heading to rescue shortly to start her new life!

Miss Bella - Bella the Beagle started her second round of treatment this past week. It will take her approximately 4 weeks to recover and then she will be ready for her new home or rescue!

Chloe & Mandy - These sisters have been waiting forever - but their patience paid off. They are now in a wonderful indoor foster home that they share with other dogs and have both started treatment. They have about another month to go and then will finally be ready for their chance at a new beginning.

Beautiful Bob - Has raised the funds for his Heartworm treatment, has moved to an indoor foster home (that he shares with Bella the Beagle) and will be starting his treatment shortly! Please keep your eye on this boy - he is very special and deserving of a wonderful home.

Darlin' Darla - Darla is another girl who has been waiting and waiting for her chance. It is just around the corner - not to worry. Thanks to you all - Darla has the funds for treatment and will be moving to Daisy Mae's foster home to begin treatment - once Daisy Mae heads to rescue (Thank you Susan!)

Thanks to your support - these pups are well on their way to their second chance at life.

Of course - We still have a few cuties that need your help though (that will never change!)

Sweet Susie - is in a loving foster home and just waiting for sponsorship funds to help her pay for Heartworm treatment. She is a very sweet girl who deserves her chance to find love and a family of her own. Please "Chip-In" for Susie's treatment.

Eskimo - is living with Susie. What a big lug! He is four times her size - so it is going to cost quite a bit more to put him through treatment. He has already received $70 from two doggie angels (you know who you are) - but has a ways to go before he can afford Heartworm treatment. If you can even chip in $5, $10 towards his care - we would so appreciative.

As always - THANK YOU for caring about our pups. Without you all contributing in different capacities (fostering, donating, cross-posting) - we would not be able to continue to help the dogs in our community.
