Rex thinks he is a present:)
We just received this update and very festive picture of Rex - enjoying his first Christmas in his new home!
Rex either is convinced the Christmas tree is real (maybe as he was an outdoor dog at one time?) or he wants us to know he is our Christmas present this year. Whenever I am in the kitchen cooking this is where he lays, right in front of the tree!
Rex came to us in horrible shape - he was skin and bones. On top of everything else - he was Heartworm positive. We feared that he would not be able to survive treatment in his condition. Thanks to super fosters, Lisa and Leanne - Rex not only came through his treatment - but turned into a GORGEOUS pup after months of intensive love and care.
Thank you so much to our rescue partners for finding Rex such a wonderful home! Pictures like this one remind us why we do what we do:)
