UPDATE ON CHLOE:)

Chloe relaxing in Maine

As mentioned in the previous blog entry -- Chloe (of Chloe and Mandy) headed North last weekend to rescue after spending over a year in rescue.

Some of you may remember - when Chloe and Mandy first arrived in our rescue - they were both pregnant - and gave birth to litters of pups who also went to our rescue partner many moons ago.

We just discovered that Chloe is being fostered by the family that adopted one of her puppies, Frankie! So Mom and at least one pup, have been reunited! How cool is that? Wouldn't it be a great ending if Chloe ended up being adopted by her foster family?

Please take a minute to enjoy the below pictures and updates from Chloe's foster mom:

You were right about Chloe being a cuddle bug. All she wants to do is sit in your lap and be touched. When you stop touching her she just looks up at you with those big brown eyes as if to say "Please don't stop." She is AMAZING on leash. Walks right next to you and doesn't even pull. I hope she can teach Frankie a thing or two about that.

Today was a HUGE day for Frankie and Chloe! They played together on the beach and in their pen! It was so nice to see Chloe come out of her shell and want to play. In fact Frankie couldn't believe it at first. We were starting to think she was just a lazy dog. She loved running on the beach with us.

Chloe is a perfect example of how wonderful a dog can be.

She ALWAYS has to be touching you, in your lap, jumping on you etc. (as we speak she keeps trying to get into my lap as I type this e-mail!) She would need to be in a family who does have a lot of time for her. She hates it when you are not paying attention to her. At first it was kind of annoying because she was ALWAYS in our face or trying to get into our laps and so on. We have gotten use to that now and just find it cute.

The way life should be!

Chloe and her pup, Frankie - reunited!

It is wonderful to receive happy endings for our pups - especially the adult dogs and long-term residents. We are so happy for Chloe! We hope to be writing a similar blog entry for Chloe's sister, Mandy, one day soon!
