Bagel today - a brand new dog!
Some of our long time supporters will remember "Bagel the Survivor." This sweet girl came to us in very bad condition - shot several times at close range - left lying in her own blood while a group of teens partied around her.
It took thousands of dollars and many months to put Bagel back together again.
The effort and support from you all eventually paid off and Bagel headed off to rescue in New England.
We just received the above picture of Bagel. It took a village of dog lovers to save Bagel - but boy was it worth it. She looks like a completely different dog!
Bagel is a reminder of why we do what we do....Thank you all for believing in her.
