Please help sweet Zoey!
Meet Zoey.
PAWS received a call this week from a woman in Parkin who had found a dog and she wanted to know if we could help.
The woman said that she had seen Zoey for about a week and couldn't stand the thought of her being out there on her own so she went and picked her up. She said that she called everyone she could find on the internet and they all turned her down.
PAWS volunteer, Leanne, went out to meet Zoey and to take some pictures. Here is what Leanne reported back about Zoey:
Zoey is the sweetest dog ever!
Even though she has been let down by people she still loves them. She is fairly young maybe a year old. The woman who has her really would like her gone by Friday, so we really need to find her a foster home ASAP. I can't leave her out there - who knows what will happen to her.
Zoey walks really well on a leash. Her wounds appear to be healing but she has a lot of scars on her, there is no telling how long she has been on her own or what she has been through. Despite it all, she maintains a positive outlook and loves every person she meets.
Zoey continues to smile despite how the world has treated her.
Look at how sweet she is!
