ADOPTABLE DOGS STILL WAITING FOR THEIR CHANCE

Skylar is a gorgeous girl - she deserves a home!

We have a few wonderful dogs that are ready for adoption and have been waiting patiently for their forever homes to find them. These pups are vetted and have been treated for Heartworm if needed.

It is not fair for these pups to be in limbo for long periods of time. Additionally - by adopting a dog - a foster space is opened so that we can help another that may been in urgent need. There are so many dogs that need our help right now - but foster homes are overflowing. It is heartbreaking to turn away a dog that needs a chance at life.

Please take a look at the cuties below. Even if you are not in the position to adopt personally - maybe you know someone who is searching for their new best friend (?)

Bruno - This boy has surprised us all. After growing up in a kennel - with little human interaction - he has proven himself to be an absolute love! Bruno is approximately two years old, gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and gender, house trained and crate trained. He loves to sleep under the covers with his foster mom. Please consider giving Bruno a forever home!

Jackie - How can you not fall in love with this scruffy face? Jackie's foster mom reports that she is the world's best dog! Playful, but not high energy. Loving but not needy. She gets along very well with the other dogs in her foster home. Her favorite activities include going for walks, lying in the kiddie pool, chasing tennis balls, and taking naps! Jackie is housetrained and will ask to go out when she needs to. Jackie has just finished her second round of heartworm treatment. She will need a few more weeks of recovery time and then will be ready for her new home.

Scout - Poor Scout has been waiting and waiting for someone to take him home! We have had lots of inquiries on Scout and even a prospective adopter who met him and claimed she wanted him - but then dropped of the face of the earth when it was time for him to go home. Scout is such a nice dog. He is currently sharing his foster home with multipe dogs and gets along well with all. He is house trained and crate trained. If you put Animal Planet on the TV he will sit and watch for hours on end! He also likes to collect his human's clothes and put them in his crate - we think he likes to have the scent of his loved ones with him. Of course, being a hound, Scout requires a fenced in yard - but does not appear to have any interest in testing the boundaries of his fence.

Skylar - We cannot believe that nobody has adopted Skylar. She is a GORGEOUS dog with unusual markings. She is a nice medium size (35 lbs) and an all around sweet girl. Skylar loves to go for runs and walks - but is not high energy. Once she has received her exercise, she is perfectly content to curl up on the couch with you. She likes playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She is a herding dog, so her playstyle can be a little pushy sometimes - but she is never aggressive. Skylar is also crate trained.

Oxford - Oxford is STILL waiting. This is a nice, mellow Beagle boy (estimated to be 7-8 years) who doesn't cause any trouble at all. He gets along well with other dogs and is quite a character as he will pick up his water bowl and shake it when it is empty! Oxford would make a great companion for a retiree. Oxford does have an underactive thyroid which is controlled with a daily pill that is very inexpensive.

Please consider adopting on of these sweet dogs - by adopting one dog - you actually help us to save two!

If you are interested in making a difference in a dog's life, please send us an email: marionangels@yahoo.com to find out how you can help.

We cannot do it without you!

Thank you for caring about our dogs.
