Another transport day has come and gone with four very lucky PAWS pups heading off to new lives. This week Adam, Adrian and Akeem headed North to join their sibblings, Abbott and Atlas (who left a few weeks ago). The whole litter known as the "A Team" was rescued from the Marion Animal Shelter when their time was up. We are so happy that they all are going to the same rescue group!
Also on the freedom train was Lackey. Lackey has been waiting awhile as he was heartworm positive and had to be treated before he could go to rescue. Thank you to Terri for fostering Lackey through treatment! You are an angel!
Big Kudos to Leanne who got the pups their health certificates, brought them to the pick up location and literally carried them on to the transport when it was too hot for them to walk through the parking lot. Apparently Lackey has put on some pounds and Leanne got her workout for the month getting him on transport!
