WHY DOESN'T ANYONE WANT OXFORD?

Oxford - sweet beagle boy looking for love

This is Oxford - One of the sweetest dogs that has ever come through our rescue.

This poor boy has been waiting since August 2008 for his forever home - and we cannot figure out why. Thankfully, his foster mom, Bobbie, has been so patient - despite the fact that she runs her own sanctuary and has limited space.

Oxford may not be a cute, young pup - but he also does not bring to the table all of the bad habits of a cute young pup. He is house trained, calm, loving, not destructive and content to hang out on the couch with his person.

Oxford LOVES to go for walks and gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home.

He is full of personality - if he finds his water bowl empty - he will not bark - but will rattle the bowl around with his paw and look at you until you take the hint!

He would make a wonderful family dog or a companion for a retiree.

He does have an underactive thyroid which requires very that he take a pill once a day. The medication is inexpensive if ordered on line.

Oxford is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm negative.

This boy has been in limbo long enough. He deserves a chance at his very own family.

If you have the love in your heart and room in your home for Oxford, please send us an email:
